Manage Large Penetration Testing Teams

One tester can keep an engagement in their head. Ten testers across thirty concurrent engagements cannot. Scheduling against a shared calendar

Every assessment is scheduled with a start date, a planned end date, an assessment type and an application. The Scheduling view lists them all by status, and a calendar view lays the engagements out by week so overlaps are obvious. When you assign assessors, each one is marked Free or Busy for the dates you picked, so you can see who has capacity before you overload someone. Campaigns group related assessments, and a pipeline of statuses from New through Testing, Reporting and Completed shows where each one stands. See Schedule an assessment.

Working on the same assessment at the same time

Assessments are collaborative. Several assessors work on one engagement at once: the finding list updates live, edit locks show who is editing which field, comments and @mentions on findings bring a colleague into a specific issue, and a shared notebook holds the working notes. Every change is recorded in the assessment's history.

Quality control that is enforced, not hoped for

• Checklists per assessment type, such as OWASP Top 10 or a mobile methodology, are attached to the assessment and worked through question by question. A checklist can block finalization until it is complete, so nothing ships with a step skipped. See Assessment Checklists.
• Peer review puts every report through a queue where a second tester reviews it with tracked changes and diffs before it is finalized.
• Content templates and AI prompts keep the writing consistent across the team, so a report from a junior tester reads like one from a lead. See Templating.

Visibility for managers

Role-specific dashboards give pentesters their own workload, managers the state of every engagement and every open finding across the organization, and remediation owners the issues assigned to them. The manager view sorts and exports findings across assessments, so "what is open, where, and how late" is a filter rather than a spreadsheet.

Access control that matches how firms are organized

Users belong to an organization, and organizations can have sub-organizations, so an MSSP or a large enterprise can keep customers or business units apart. Permissions are granular, with a gate on every action and a scope on every read, and the built-in roles cover the common cases. Teams, engagement managers and remediation managers are first-class fields on an assessment. See Permissions.

Notifications people actually read

Assignment, mentions, review requests, upcoming and overdue remediation and more arrive as in-app notifications and as email, with per-user preferences. Report-out meetings can be scheduled straight from the assessment with a calendar invite.
